A Good Day.

Mikell and I went to Statesboro today for our final pre-marriage counseling session with Danny and we were able to see a few good friends at the CCF house. I had coffee with Aubri after our meeting which is always a favorite. It was a good day of community and hanging out - one that made me miss good 'ol Statesboro! Aubri was wearing her new Toms which, naturally, made me now want a pair :) I mean hey, they support a good cause!! Then Mikell and I headed back for an evening of Granny sitting.

I have set a new goal for myself....
Since I have to take all these pictures for my photo class I have decided that I want to take (and hope to take) one good picture a day. One that I am proud of and would like to share. I really like photography and have figured that the best way to strengthen my very weak skills is to practice practice practice.

This is Mikell's sweet, and sometimes a little crazy, grandmother, Granny.

And this is Mikell's dog Barkley. He lunged for my camera right after I took this picture - apparently he did like me being the paparazzi while he was trying to sleep - who could blame him.
